Morningside Alums Launch Clothing Collection Drive

The Morningside Monarch Alumni Association (MMAA) has teamed up with Clothes for the Cause to collect clothing, shoes, hats, linens and more for a high school fundraiser. Bennett-Kew Adds New Outdoor Murals

Two new murals have been added to the Bennett-Kew Elementary School campus thanks to the hard work and support of faculty, parents, volunteers and community partners, including Inglewood City Councilman Ralph Franklin. The school celebrated the completed paintings at a ceremony on Tuesday, April 14. These murals join five others beautifying the outdoor space at Bennett-Kew.

Visitors with Grades of Green toured Oak Street to judge the school's efforts with the Trash-Free Lunch Challenge.

Oak Street Elementary has won first place and a $1,000 prize in a countywide Trash-Free Lunch Challenge sponsored by a local nonprofit group!
