The Inglewood Educational Foundation was established in 1998 as a non-profit corporation organized under the “Non-profit Public Benefit Corporation Law” Section 501(c)(3) for charitable purposes. With annual fundraising activities, the Foundation is dedicated to generating financial support from the community for the improvement and enrichment of educational opportunities for all students in the Inglewood Unified School District. The primary purpose of the Foundation is to provide college scholarships to graduating students and supplemental financial support for a variety of educational programs that directly benefit students and teachers.

The Inglewood Educational Foundation provides financial support for the following:
• College Scholarships Special scholarships are available for students pursuing careers in engineering, energy and water
• Grants for Teachers
• College and Career Counseling Materials
• Classroom Academic Enhancement
• After School Academic Enrichment Programs
• Summer Seminars in Science and Medicine
• School Library Improvement
• Cultural and Fine Arts Programs
